About Worldwide Dive and Sail

Owned and managed by Frank Van Der Linde and Mark Shandur, the company operates a range of different brands for diving and sailing trips in Asia and the Pacific. The owners maintain a hands-on approach to running the business and are supported by an international team of experienced divers and travel experts.

Founded in 2003 by Frank and his dive buddy Alex, Worldwide Dive and Sail’s first sailing yacht, then called the Sampai Jumpa, began by offering trips to the Similan and Surin islands of Thailand. Since those humble beginnings, the company has moved forward in leaps and bounds. With a new Siren Fleet liveaboard yacht built each year the Worldwide Dive and Sail destinations portfolio soon expanded to include such places as the Mergui Archipelago of Burma, the Andaman Islands in India, the Philippines, Komodo & Raja Ampat in Indonesia as well as the Maldives. Latest ventures have brought forth yachts in Palau and Fiji.

The WWDAS team are also involved with sailing and fishing charters on a jointly owned catamaran; The Golden Dragon, which operates in Phuket, Thailand.

Though many of the the original destinations are no longer offered, WWDAS continues to grow and launched its new brand - Master Liveaboards in June 2014. This exciting venture will provide an even wider choice of places to dive which will include the Galapagos, Truk, French Polynesia, Bahamas, Red Sea and Maldives with more to follow....Worldwide Dive and Sail truly sets out to offer the ultimate liveaboard diving experience.
